Inner City Mission

Some of the services provided by the mission include:

  1. Housing - ICM provides three types of housing depending on the need.  Emergency housing for 1-7 days; and transitional housing which focuses on the reason for the homeless situation and develops a strategy to enable the person to once again lead a normal life.
  2. Spiritual Guidance - is provided through Bible studies, weekend services, daily prayer and scripture reading, and Christian counseling.
  3. Guidance, Safety and Structure - refers to the help given in daily issues such as money management, food preparation, etc.
  4. Need Evaluation - helps determine individual needs and recommends corrective action.
  5. Advocacy - ICM provides representation for the rights of residents and helps them obtain the services needed.
  6. Savings Program - At least 75% of the resident's monthly income is put in savings to be used toward independent housing.
  7. Clothing, household items and furniture - Thousands of articles of clothing, household items and furnishings are given away each year to both residents and non-residents.

Please keep Inner City Missions in your prayers!
